Our Story

residential and commercial solid surface solutions

Multi Surface Fabrications has been operating for over twenty years, like any business during this time we have experienced critical moments, overcame many challenges, and hit multiple milestones. Every moment has shaped MSF into the company we are today, so we want to share our story with you.

2001

Multi surface fabrications was founded. Originally set up to launch Himacs into the UK market, it soon became apparent that this was not sustainable. From this we concentrated our efforts on becoming a solid surface fabricator.

2003

In 2003 MSF developed one of the first solid surface blank products and in 2004 we launched Silica Solid Surface worktops, with LG Himacs.

2006

By 2006, we secured an exclusive supply chain with Moben Kitchens, to supply Silica worktops under the Moben brand of Tectops.

2008

MSF had become the leading user in the UK for LG Himacs. However, trouble loomed as the United Kingdom was about to face a period of financial difficulty that hadn’t been seen since the second world war.

2009

Before the end of 2009, we were certified to use all other solid surface brands available within the UK market. And by 2010 we managed to survive one of the worst recessions in living memory.

2010

2010 saw the breakthrough of one of our most iconic products, wash troughs. We created our first solid surface wash troughs in ‘Orange’ for the project ‘Building the Schools for the Future’ – and we loved every second of it.

2014

MSF were appointed a Corian Quality Network Fabricator. Meaning we were now part of a premium group of fabricators and installers, as an industrial partner to Corian DuPont. As of 2022, we’re still proud to say we’re still a Corian Quality Network Fabricator.

2017

Since 2017 we’ve secured numerous contracts working on the interior fitouts of multiple Mosques across the UK. Beginning with Accrington Mosque, we ensured the architects vision was accurately brought to life and maintained in pristine condition through the benefits of solid surface.

2021

On the 23rd of August 2021 we celebrated our 20-year anniversary, with old and new faces that have contributed to our growth and success over the last two decades.

2022

Our latest investment saw us purchase a brand new, state of the art, nesting Biesse CNC machine. Due to arrive in the Autumn to complement our existing CNC machine.
